What is the Chaos Transformation Wheel?

Chaos is the experience of energy moving before we know what it is becoming. The Chaos Transformation Wheel is a free personal mapping tool that helps you name what is moving, read the conditions and your capacity, and choose one honest move. It is part of Emotional Surfing, a framework created by Kimber Hardick, author of An Invitation to Shine: From Invisible to Invincible.

There are two wheels, named for the direction the energy is moving. Downward chaos is energy moving through loss, release, collapse, grief, endings or completion. Upward chaos is energy moving through expansion, visibility, creativity, possibility and becoming. Something may be ending and opening at the same time, so you are welcome to visit both.

To use the tool, choose the wheel that matches where you are today. Then select a category that describes the shape of your experience, and a type that names how it feels in your body. The wheel names a possible alchemy, a capacity that may become available as you move through the experience, along with a specific reflection, guided meditations, and a passage from the book. Alchemy is not a promise, justification or reason the experience had to happen.

The book holds the lived story and reflective foundation. Emotional Surfing turns those insights into an interactive framework and practice. An Invitation to Shine: From Invisible to Invincible is about moving from invisible to invincible, from hiding to shining, and from the performance of who you think you need to be to the presence of who you are.

Where are you right now?
Choose your wheel
Chaos is the experience of energy moving before we know what it is becoming. The two wheels are named for the direction that energy is moving. Choose whichever matches where you are today.
Alchemy names a capacity that may become available as you move through the experience. It is not a promise, justification or reason the experience had to happen. You do not have to find it while you are still surviving what happened.
Something may be ending and opening at the same time. If both are true for you, begin with whichever is louder today. You can switch wheels at any point.

Panic
